Rainbow – Curved free-standing glass art panel
This is a beautiful rainbow, curved into a free standing fused glass panel. This bright and colorful freestanding piece is an abstract depiction of a rainbow. It includes a wonderful mix of primary colored glass and clear glass to create this stunning wave design.
This glass panel was created by hand cutting many clear glass pieces, arranging them just so, and adding colored glass frit in the seams. I then fused multiple layers of glass at high temperatures in a kiln. It was then fired on a curve mold to get the curved shape which allows it to stand on its own without needing an additional stand.
Display it in a window sill, and let the light shine through, or place on a fireplace mantle or shelf, perhaps back lit by a small candle or fairy lights. Hopefully this brings you (or your recipient) joy and wonderful memories of beautiful rainbows and happy moments. This was inspired by the breathtaking beauty our earth has to offer.
