Our hearts are never perfect, as they are bruised and damaged from life, yet they still can hold so much love. This fused glass heart was created by hand cutting glass stringers, arranging them into the heart shape and firing at high temperatures in my kiln. I chose a firing schedule that created gaps and left some texture to the glass which gives it more interest. It has been attached to the frame glass and colored paper set behind it to provide the background.
The frame has an easel back so it can sit on a desk/table and also has the hardware to be hung. The paper behind the glass can be switched out to any color paper or card stock you may have. Brighten up your living space with this glass piece or gift to someone special.
