This fused glass panel in the shape of a heart has been set in a white frame. It was created by hand cutting sheet glass into strips, arranging them into the heart shape and firing at high temperatures in my kiln. I then added the heart to base glass and fired again. I chose a firing schedule that still left some texture to the glass which gives it more depth and interest. It has been attached to the frame glass and paper set behind it to provide the background.
It has an easel back so it can sit on a desk/table. It does not have the hardware to be hung. The paper behind the glass can be switched out to any color paper or card stock you may have. Brighten up your living space with this glass piece or gift to someone special.
The frame measures 5 15/16 x 5 15/16 inches.
